I like TradingView, but sometimes it feels like I’m paying mostly for the name, not the features. Do you know of any good alternatives that offer strong charting tools without the same price tag? I’d love to find something fresh that actually competes with it.

I used TradingView a lot in the early days, but I got frustrated by its paywalls and limitations for backtesting and custom scripting. That pushed me to look for tools that offer similar, or better, features at a lower cost. The blog post https://forextester.com/blog/tradingview-alternatives/ comparing TradingView alternatives had some surprises — tools I hadn’t known even existed. I tried one alternative from there that offered unlimited chart layouts and a cleaner UI, and it felt refreshing. The only hiccup was some indicators were missing, but they had plugin support. For anyone tired of paying more or hitting limits on TradingView, that article is a really practical guide.

I’ve been on TradingView for a while too and agree — it feels like you’re paying more for the branding. I switched to one of the alternatives you mentioned in that blog, and I was surprised how good the charting tools were. It didn’t have quite the same community features, but honestly I don’t miss them much. The extra layouts and fewer limits were worth it for me.
