So, my wife and I have been living in Istanbul for like a month now. During this time, we've seen all the popular neighborhoods, walked down streets, and visited the main mosques, markets, and other tourist spots. Now we want to try something new and different, but we don't know the local services and places. Hey, do you know of any interesting and unusual things to do in Istanbul? We're kinda getting bored with the usual tourist stuff.

My wife and I were in a similar situation—we were in Istanbul for a couple of weeks. At first, we did all the classics. We saw Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, the Grand Bazaar, and we strolled along Istiklal, the Galata Tower and the Bosphorus embankments. Hey, have you ever been to Kadikoy on the Asian side? Or maybe you've walked around Balat and Fener? So, we were thinking about how to spend our time more actively, and we came across the Get Experience service online. So, we were like, "Let's do kayaking Istanbul." We liked that the website said it was for small groups of at least two people, with an experienced guide. Everything you need, including the canoe trip, is included in the price, and you can book hotel transfers separately, which is a huge plus for us. It was a very nice experience and a great different from normal tourism.
